Flourish Counselling & Psychosocial Support
At Flourish Counselling & Psychosocial Support, we provide psychological assessments, including psychometric and functional capacity assessments, as well as NDIS report writing and outcome reports.
These psychosocial support services are tailored for NDIS participants and individuals across the lifespan, helping clients gain clarity, insight, and direction in understanding their experiences, strengths, and challenges.
While these assessments do not provide a formal diagnosis of mental health conditions or neurodivergence, they do offer a clear pathway to accessing supports and funding through the NDIS, Early Childhood Intervention, My Aged Care, and other community and allied health services for children, adolescents, adults, and elders.
Our assessments are designed to honour each person’s lived experience, communication style, sensory needs, and cultural background, ensuring every client feels respected, understood, and supported.
The assessments we provide are for:

ADHD assessments help individuals understand patterns of attention and inattention, impulsivity, and executive functioning challenges. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights that can inform therapeutic strategies, workplace accommodations, personal development, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
PTSD assessment services help individuals understand trauma-related responses, emotional regulation challenges, and coping mechanisms. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights that support therapeutic direction, self-awareness, providing great access to pathways to obtain NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
Depression and anxiety assessment services help individuals understand mood patterns, emotional regulation or dysregulation, and stress-related challenges. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights that support therapeutic direction, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
ASD assessment services help individuals understand neurodivergent traits, social communication patterns, and sensory sensitivities. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support self-awareness, therapeutic strategies, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
OCD assessment services help individuals understand obsessive thoughts, compulsive behaviours, and their impact on daily life. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support therapeutic strategies, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
Bipolar Disorder assessment services help individuals understand mood fluctuations, emotional regulation challenges, and their impact on daily life. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support therapeutic strategies, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) assessment services help individuals understand the long-term effects of chronic trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and relational patterns. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support therapeutic strategies, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
NDIS report writing assessment services offered to individuals who would like to access the NDIS for support and funding for ongoing counselling, allied health, behaviour support and intervention for young people and adults. Reports are written after assessments are concluded and are provided to our clients or their allied health to submit to the NDIS for an application to the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Our reports are done in a clinical capacity and can be completed in person or over the phone.
A Psychosocial Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) explores how a person’s mental health condition impacts their everyday functioning, independence and participation. It focuses on the functional impact — not the diagnosis — and provides clear, evidence‑based information that supports NDIS access, plan review
