Flourish Counselling & Psychotherapy
At Flourish Counselling & Psychotherapy, we can provide psychological assessments, report writing and other assessment services related to mental health for NDIS participants and other individuals to help them gain insight into navigating their experiences and challenges.
While these assessments do not qualify for a formal diagnosis of mental health disorders or neurodiversity, they do provide a pathway to accessing support and funding within the NDIS, early childhood intervention services, my aged care, and other support organisations for children, adolescents, adults and elders.
The assessments we can do are as follows:
ADHD assessment services help individuals understand attention/inattention patterns, impulsivity, and executive functioning challenges. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights that can inform therapeutic strategies, workplace accommodations, personal development, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
PTSD assessment services help individuals understand trauma-related responses, emotional regulation challenges, and coping mechanisms. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights that support therapeutic direction, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
Depression and anxiety assessment services help individuals understand mood patterns, emotional regulation or dysregulation, and stress-related challenges. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights that support therapeutic direction, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
ASD assessment services help individuals understand neurodivergent traits, social communication patterns, and sensory sensitivities. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support self-awareness, therapeutic strategies, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
OCD assessment services help individuals understand obsessive thoughts, compulsive behaviours, and their impact on daily life. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support therapeutic strategies, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
Bipolar Disorder assessment services help individuals understand mood fluctuations, emotional regulation challenges, and their impact on daily life. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support therapeutic strategies, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) assessment services help individuals understand the long-term effects of chronic trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and relational patterns. While not a formal diagnosis, these evaluations provide valuable insights to support therapeutic strategies, self-awareness, and provide pathways to access NDIS funding or implement workplace adjustments.
NDIS report writing assessment services offered to individuals who would like to access the NDIS for support and funding for ongoing counselling, allied health, behaviour support and intervention for young people and adults. Reports are written after assessments are concluded and are provided to our clients or their allied health to submit to the NDIS for an application to the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Our reports are done in a clinical capacity and can be completed in person or over the phone.
Navigating psychological assessments, assessment services, support systems, funding pathways, and accommodations can be complex, and a well-structured report can make a significant difference in securing the right assistance.
Whether advocating for services through NDIS, workplace adjustments, educational support, or other relevant frameworks, we can help clients articulate their needs with clarity, professionalism, and alignment with best-practice psychological principles.
Our approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and strengths-focused, ensuring reports reflect each client's unique circumstances while maintaining accuracy, credibility, and impact. We also guide clients in engaging with organisations confidently, offering practical advocacy strategies that empower them to navigate bureaucratic processes effectively.
